Coláiste UISCE is a unique activity based Gaeltacht adventure centre, we are open for School, Adult events and Corporate clients from the start of September until the end of May.
UISCE will tailor an event to your groups needs and budget. We welcome all types of groups at the centre, over the years we have hosted a number of national windsurfing competitions, college intervarsity’s, instructor training weekends, sports symposiums and even a wedding! If you are open to new challenges and ready embrace your inner adventurer we will make sure you have an unforgettable trip.
Environmental, Historical and Culture Education
Colásite UISCE and the Erris area are ideal for an environmental, historical or cultural field trip.
UISCE is the perfect location from which to conduct your environmental education field trip. Parts of the Mullet Peninsula are designated as Special Areas of Conservation (SACs) under the EU Habitats Directive, in recognition of the variety of important terrestrial and marine habitats, the number of rare plant and animal species and its proximity to pristine bog lands.
A short Coach trip will also allow you access to the Céide Fields and Ballycroy National Park.
Facilities
UISCE is equipped with four wet and dry classrooms, a large dining hall and commercial catering kitchen, onsite accommodation for up 110 people, an indoor climbing wall, an archery hall, basketball courts and a football pitch.
