There has been a huge growth in interest in kayaking and sea kayaking in Ireland in recent times. As we are blessed with the perfect location for beginners to take to the sport, it is only natural that we offer kayaking as one of our primary water activities. After learning the basic strokes, students can take part in mini-trips around Elly bay and explore the rocky coastline of nearby lagoons and coves.

Our boats mainly consist of sit-on top singles, doubles and tri-yaks, perfect for the first few introductory sessions. We also have a number of sit–in kayaks for improver classes.

To ensure the safety of all students instructors are equipped with tow lines in all kayaking classes.

More than once we have been visited by local seals and dolphins during our kayaking classes - hopefully you will have a chance to experience this too!
